HKHS NASA Rover challenge

$1,320 of $2,000 goal

Raised by 23 people in 6 months
Created January 18, 2018
In an engineering class our group has decided to research and compete in a Nasa Rover Challenge. This challenge requires a group of kids to create a pedal powered rover out of materials of their choosing, that accompanies two riders and can compete in a half mile obstacle course. This course simulates the terrain that is found on mars, such as boulders, loose sediment, and craters. We are using parts from bicycles but some of the parts need to be made and require a little more money than expected . This money will also go to funding the drive down to Huntsville, Alabama where the competition is held.
