Rainbow Hearts Sled Dog WCH Germany

Thank you for taking interest and the time to hear our story! I am a skijoring fanatic that has a true love for sled dog superstars! I am from Welches, OR and have the amazing oppurtunity to represent the USA at the 2015 IFSS (International Federation of Sleddog Sports) World Championships on Snow in Germany (http://www.sleddogsport.net/world-championships/).
I will be the only woman skijorer competing for the USA. I will be competing in Germany at the end of February in 3 classes: 1 dog skijor (12 km), 2 dog skijor ( 12 km), skidog combined ( 2 x 5 km). My three teammates are the most amazing athletes I have ever seen and they happen to be some of my best friends too- they are my superstar skidogs Tigger, Amos and Argo. Collectivelly we call ourselves the "Rainbow Hearts". I will only be taking two dogs to Germany, but I am still undecided which two will make the trip.
It is a dream come true and such an honor to represent the USA in what will be a gathering of the best of the best in the sled dog world. My dogs and I have been training extensively and plan to give it everything we have plus more!
It's not in my nature to ask for assistance, especially that of the financial kind, but as you can imagine, this is a very large financial undertaking. I will be flying myself, two dogs, equipment (skis, pulk, etc.), and my handler (my husband :) ). Donations are taken to heart and we will do our absolute best to pay that forward in anyway we can!
Regardless of donation amount, supporters and donors can opt to have the Rainbow Hearts advertise names/logos on our equipment, gear, and clothing- so please let us know if you would like us to do this. Every penny helps :)
My estimated costs are as follows:
Airfare (Humans) = $2000/person
Airfare /Transportation (Dogs) & Entry Fees = $1000/Dog
TOTAL = $6,000.00
