Hi everyone, my name is Aydan. I am a 32 year old autistic father trying to get my life on the right track.
I am raising money to help fund my college degree and purchase a much needed laptop for my classes, all of which are online. My current laptop has a broken screen ( I have to plug it into a monitor to use it) and a non-functioning fan (I keep in on it's side in front of a box fan to keep it from overheating).
I am currently working towards a Bachleor's degree in Business Mangement from a strictly online college, as well as certification for TESOL (teaching English as a second language) through another college.
My family and I just lost our home and are staying with friends until we are able to get on our feet again, so money is really tight and because of this meeting my funding goals for my schooling is extremely difficult.
Right now, my classes cost about $1300 per semster for the Bachleors and about three to four hundred for the remaining of my TESOL certification.
My plan is to finish my TESOL and find a position tutoring or teaching English as a Secondary language while continuing to work towards my Business Management degree. However, without the funding for my courses this is impossible.
Being able to finish out these goals would make a huge improvement in not only my life but also those of my family as well. I hope to be able to start my own business using what I will be learning from my courses so that I can become completely self-sufficent and hopefully help others that are where I am now.
