Injured Vet Loses Home in Fire
$121,559 of $50k goal
Tragedy struck a treasured member of the military and veteran caregiving community and her family on Thursday evening when a fire destroyed their home and all their belongings.
Jessica provides full-time care for her husband, a military captain and triple amputee. She generously volunteers her time and expertise to support other military caregivers in her role as Fellow for Caring for Military Families: The Elizabeth Dole Foundation, a nationwide non-profit organization dedicated to raising support and awareness for military and veteran caregivers.
The Elizabeth Dole Foundation has started a fund to aid the Kleins as they recover from their injuries, the loss of their home and begin rebuilding their lives. We invite family, friends, members of the military and caregiving communities and warm-hearted Americans, grateful to Flip and Jessica for their service to our nation, to join our efforts and support them during this difficult time.
Please help us reach our initial goal of $50,000 by making a generous contribution today. You can also show your support through Social Media by changing your profile photos to help share the message with family and friends. Every donation will go directly Jessica and Flip and bring them one step closer to rebuilding their lives.
Thank you for your support.
Knowing we are in your thoughts and prayers has been the cornerstone of our healing process, and your generosity will help us overcome the challenges that still lie ahead. Thank you- thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Your kindness means more to us than we could ever put into words.
Jessica and Flip Klein
We are so thankful to all of you for your support through this rough time.
We got your back...What can we do for you so you can feel like a complete civil citizen? I hate when they look at me as a victim missing just one leg ATK so I have a slight idea of what your dealing with. We will make this solution happen for you Brother.
