Medical and life expenses

Hey y'all! For those of you who do not know me or my story my name is Desiree Clark. I am a 31 year old mother of two, a 9 year old boy named Malachi and my spunky 6 year old daughter, Adrianna. I am a 90 percent disabled veteran of the United States Army. I have struggled over the last 8, almost, 9 years with a variety of health problems. I have had over 300 injections and 17 surgeries. Most recently I was released from Thomas Hospital here in Fairhope, Alabama after a 13 day stay, I was in the ICU the first two days of that visit. I have been home now for almost 3 days but am currently on 22 different medications along with my breathing machine and treatments. I have many doctor appointments I will be needing to attend starting on this coming Monday August the 26th. For this appointment I will be having to pay an out of pocket expense due to the fact the VA hospital is making me go through a long tedious process to be able to get them to cover the visit and this initial visit alone is at minimum $200.00 , depending of course on what all they will need to do whilst I am there. Also, some of my appointments are up to an hour and a half away (the closest VA to me is even over an hour away) and the air conditioner in my van has gone out. The humidity down here is one of the things aggravating my heart and lung problems the most. Having to drive that far in the heat is not good for me at all and it is going to be extremely costly to get it fixed. My kids' father has to take 3 weeks off of work while I was in the hospital so that he could be there to take care of the kids and get them to and from school in the morning so we also took quite a pay hit with all of this going on. I am an extremely proud and independent person and having to ask for help honestly hurts me to my core but I know being healthy and here for my kids is important than that. If you could please donate anything to help it would be greatly appreciated more than you could ever know. Also, if you can not give I would love all the prayers, thoughts, good vibes, and shares I can get also. I am surrounded by some of the best and most loving people who are helping me get through all of this and for that I am truly thankful.
