From Nurse to Patient!

Marty is an ICU nurse in one of the busiest, hardest places to work in Riverside County. He is a hard worker and dedicated to his patients and his ICU family!  For weeks he had been not feeling well and thought he had a minor virus that he couldn’t get over because, well, he was overworked and tired. After some testing, it seems that it is much more than that. A CT found that he had some abnormalities near his epiglottis and required a biopsy in the OR. He came out of the OR with a tracheostomy and is now awaiting diagnostic pathology.  While we don’t know what awaits Marty around the corner, we do know this is more than just a minor recovery.
