Thank you for your interest in Hertfordshire Vipers!
We are a dynamic new amateur volunteer run football club, providing fun competitive football from 5 years old and upwards in the Welwyn/Hatfield area.
For season 2019/20 we will be entering girls and boys teams into Hertfordshire youth leagues and also a talented Women's team in the Beds & Herts League.
Although we are a new club in name, most of our teams have already played together very successfully. We are well organised and experienced with all of our coaches being FA qualified, operating under the direction of Gary Bailey, a highly regarded UEFA qualified and former Women’s Super League coach. However, at the core of our identity is a family atmosphere where our players develop their football and social skills through encouragement and good coaching. Additionally, we have established links to education and overseas scholarship programmes, plus clear pathways to continue playing into adulthood, so we believe we offer far more than many football clubs. Our Chairman, officials and committee are dedicated and committed to building a successful club with good facilities, that promotes a positive healthy lifestyle and brings enjoyment to those involved.
However, running a club like ours doesn't come cheap. To give some context, the club has to cover basic costs such as; playing kit, balls, training equipment, goals, nets, corner posts and medical bags etc. However, club costs do not stop there. Throughout the year, we must also pay for referees, pitch hire and maintenance, floodlit winter training facilities, insurance and essential training, such as emergency first aid courses. This is before we even think about the other fun stuff like paying to enter tournaments and arranging award ceremonies!
Your donation will be helping young people in the Hertfordshire area lead a healthier lifestyle, while also promoting their development of interpersonal skills and teamwork. Thank you so much for your generosity, it will make a difference!
