Hero lost car in fire helping his disabled clients

Hi my name is Bunny and I am writing this for Greg. For over three years Greg has provided care for severely handicapped adult clients including emotional support, social enrichment, guidance, and help with daily living activities such as eating, hygiene and mobility. As Greg was getting ready for work on 11/8/18 at 7:30 I called him and told him about what would come to be known as the Paradise Camp Fire. Knowing there was a fire Greg drove toward the area of the fire to report to work at 8:00 am. At his client’s house, Greg then evacuated his client and helped another client and staff 
member evacuate. Part of Greg’s story is being in the gridlock and driving close to flaming trees and structures. It took Greg over 3 hours to get his clients to safety.

Greg was able to save his client, his client’s new specialized handicapped van and help the other client and staff. Not only did Greg lose his car as it was parked at his client’s house, but the fire destroyed everything Greg owned but the clothes on his back.

All but two of the clients in the agency Greg works for have lost their homes and they are currently housed in Corning, 83 miles from where Greg is currently rehoused.

A friend has loaned Greg his car for a short time, and it does not get the best mileage. Greg really needs a car to call his own again. People tell Greg he is a hero for saving his clients and losing everything-in true Greg fashion he says he was just doing his job.
