On Friday, 4/12 a puppy with no tags was found and taken to Heritage veterinary clinic after being hit by a car on Genesee Rd by Calvart Park Church.
Dr. Boggs and his team made sure the dog made a recovery from his head trauma. However, he will have to undergo surgery to repair his limbs. He has two broken legs. The front leg will be stabilized with a bone plate and his rear limb with a cast. He will be hospitalized 3-4 weeks after his surgeries to ensure him the best chance of recovery. The expected medical cost is roughly $3000. Any donations for the cost of the surgery would be appreciated.
