Here's looking at you, kid-ney!

Diagnosed a few years ago with a possible kidney disease - to be monitored...After losing over 200 lbs, everything was looking great. In December of 2016 Aaron became really, really sick. He was lethargic and had a hard time breathing - this lead us to the Dr. which started a series of tests and appointments to find out that his kidneys had again started to fail. (we did find out that his heart and lungs are clear!) This time they were diagnosing as Stage 4 Kidney Failure. The months continued with multiple blood transfusions, different medications, and a stay in the ICU. In March it was decided by (a super amazing nephrologist) that we start the process for dialysis. The tubing was put in for "PD" dialysis and dialysis would start soon after healing. Fast forward - dialysis hasn't started yet - we continue to praise Him for his blessings along the way.
