Helping Henry

Henry Frey is what all 5 year old boys should be. His laugh is contageous. His love for his parents, brothers, and sister is overwhelming. He gets excited about sitting through his uncle's small-town, amateur baseball game. Henry brings joy to all who know him, but he needs our help.

On Friday, December 2nd, Henry had surgery to remove a cancerous tumor the size of a lemon in his brain. While the doctors were able to remove the entire tumor, Henry's fight is only beginning. His parents, Heidi and David, do not know all of the treatments and medical expenses that are sure to follow, but it is clear that the need for help will be extensive over the coming months and years.

David is a pastor in Mission Viejo, California. Heidi cares for their four children and gives piano lessons to children in their church and community. Their lives are built on serving the needs of others, but now they need your help as well. Your prayers are needed more than anything else. The Freys trust in God's promise from Psalm 103, "Praise the LORD, my soul, and forget not all his benefits— who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion."
