Hello my name is Zori Patrick 
I am a dance major at The Alabama State University. I will be one of the first to graduate from Alabama State with a BFA in dance. My last four years have been a hard road full of academic dedication, emotional upheaval as well as physical commitment taking my mind and body to the brink and back. I am ready to embark on my professional dance career, wherever it may take me—membership in a professional dance company, video dance vixen, even Broadway! I’m in top physical condition and extremely motivated . I’d like to keep it that way so I can move full steam ahead into my professional dance career. I am raising money to attend dance intensives, which will help me advance in my career. I am hoping to attend the Garth Fagan Dance Intensive in New York. I also would love to study under renowned choreographer Ron K. Brown. Browns classes are in New York as well. This is an awesome opportunity! One month with some of the greatest dance instructors and choreographers. I’m certain to complete the session with even more skills and possibly some great contacts for the future. I am asking your help with the tuition, travel and accommodations. The money will be needed no later than the beginning of the summer because that is when the intensives begin. This means absolutely the most t me because in prior years I was never able to attend intensive to advance my career because of health reasons and low funds.
Generally, I wouldn’t use GOFundMe for this effort but as many of my friends know, I lost two very important family members in the past two years and with some pending health issues still affecting my family’s finances, this request seemed a possible solution.
So, I’m hoping you’ll be interested in supporting me in my professional efforts. I promise to keep all contributors on my mailing list so I can keep you updated on my inevitable success. This year I am super excited and motivated to do anything that I can to attend as many intensives so I can grow in my artistry.
