Help Vieques Help Tortola

Vieques was spared the worst of Hurricane Irma, but our nearby Caribbean neighbors were not. In the wake of the storm, infrastructure on other islands is decimated and people are in desperate need of water, food and supplies. The community of Vieques has banded together to help.  My name is Jillian Anderson and I am a wedding planner with GReen Eyed Girl Weddings and Events here in Vieques




With donations pouring in from dozens of residents, visitors and businesses across Vieques, a local private pilot and a close friend of mine named Christian Evans has been using his own plane to deliver supplies to Tortola and bring evacuees to safe haven in Puerto Rico. So far we have been able to deliver 4500 pounds of food, water and necessities, and we've evacuated 15 people. We have a smooth process in place, and we will continue to make these trips for as long as we can.

We have good friends in Tortola who managed to get us clearence to land our private plane.  We've been delivering supplies directly to the military, which are then distributed by the Tortola Rotary Club.




Please help us help as many people as possible. Your donations will be used to buy food, water and other supplies; purchase fuel for the plane; charter a larger plane if necessary; and provide whatever additional aid we can.
