Help Victor teach Japan's youth

As societies become more globalized, it is imperative that the youth be exposed to cultural exchange and awareness.

One of the largest aspects of culture is language. 

This is why I have accepted an opportunity to move to Japan and teach the English language to the Japanese youth.


Japan is calling for educators around the world to come raise the level of proficiency in the English language countrywide. With this, I will be moving to Japan March 10th with the privilege of being one of these educators. 

Here's where you can help.

I'm asking you to help raise $1,000 to assist me in moving and teaching expenses for the upcoming Japanese school year.

As many of us are aware, moving is fairly expensive --moving from one county to another and starting from scratch, even more so.  An apartment alone is approximately $980 due to inital startup fees such as the deposit, key money, guarantor fee, and agency fee. After that comes utilities, furnishing, etc. 

Also, Japan's payroll is a one time payment at the end of the month for the previous month i.e. April salary is paid at the end of May.  This is two months from my arrival without income to the already high costs of moving and living in Japan supplemented by the fact that I was unfortunately laid off a few months ago. 

All of these factors combined is why I am reaching out to you. With your help, you can take part in assisting me with the move, getting settled, and preparing for the school year.
