Help us re-build coffee farms

On September 20th, 2017 Puerto Rico was hit by Hurricane Maria, the strongest hurricane affecting the island in almost 90 years creating a completely devastation across the country.





The hurricane destroyed all the coffee plantations and 2017 coffee harvest from our farm located in Bo. Rubias, Yauco, and also other coffee farms around the island. Our farm with a fourth generation family coffee heritage since IX century is now just whipped out by the strong winds and water that affect the area. The sons of Don Eugenio Ruiz have been working hard to cultivate 100% arabica beans to ensure a high quality specialty coffee for our people inside and outside the island, but now all the hard work is gone. Also over 15 families from our direct workers have been impacted with this devastation. 



The farm and the community in the mountains still without electrical power, potable water and communication.

Coffee farms are the main and only business in the area. With your donation we will also help others coffee farmers  and their families around the region to survive this wave and start over.

El 20 de septiembre de 2017, Puerto Rico fue impactado por el huracán María, el huracán mas fuerte que ha afectado la isla en al menos 90 años creando total devastación a través del país.

El huracán destruyó toda la plantación y cosecha del 2017 en todas las fincas de Yauco y zona cafetalera a través de la isla. Nuestra finca con una herencia familiar de cuatro generaciones trabajando con café desde el siglo IX fue barrida por los fuertes vientos y agua que afectó el área. Los hijos de Don Eugenio Ruiz han trabajado fuerte para cultivar y procesar café 100% arábigo y así asegurar la alta calidad del café especial que disfruta nuestra gente tanto dentro como fuera de la isla, pero ahora todo el trabajo hecho se ha perdido. De igual forma, nuestros trabajadores (15) durante el año y decénas durante tiempo de cosecha y sus familiares se han visto impactados de manera directa con esta devastación. 

La comunidad de las montañas incluyendo fincas y beneficiados de café se mantienen sin agua potable, servicio eléctrico y comunicación.

Las fincas de café son el principal y único negocio en el área. Con su donativo estaremos ayudando a caficultores de la zona y sus familiares a sobrellevar esta devastación y comenzar de nuevo.

Apreciamos su apoyo para reconstruir la agricultura, economía de la isla, pero sobretodo el bienestar de nuestra gente.
