Toyin's Brain Aneurysm Fund
Donation protected
On December 13th, 2018, my mom was at church when she suffered from a ruptured brain aneurysm. She was taken to a local hospital then medivaced by helicopter to another hospital that had a trained neurosurgery team. They performed an emergency procedure that required them to put a drain in her head to drain the blood and reduce the pressure enough to stop the bleeding and fix the vessel in her brain that ruptured. Due to the rupture, my mom had a couple of strokes. For the next month, even though she still had the drain in, she continued to battle with high pressure in her head which caused additional injury to her brain.
It has been 3 months and my mother is still in a comatose state while on a ventilator. We are now reaching out to accredited neuro organizations and professionals outside the hospital who have had success healing patients with brain injuries.
My mom has 3 kids and she is literally like a best friend to each of us. All her life she would go to church at least 3 times a week. She loves to make clothing from scratch and loves apple pie and ice cream lol.My mom deserves the best care she can get. She has always been full of life and always on the go.
My mom has never had any medical issues. This is a very unexpected and unfortunate situation and we can only imagine how scared she must be.
We appreciate any donations. Thank you for your time.
