In one of Scott's last inbox to me he said
"People liked following when all the news was positive, I've given them a.
year. I promise I'll work really hard on making the news happy again
From the very beginning when we decided to go public to help Scott, we talked that this was bigger than both of us. At that time we didn't mind using the word journey, but as he got further along in the disease he started to not like that word too much. So it wasn't a journey, but it was God's plan. That he could accept. It truly became a plan of love, the love of husband and wife who protected one another. The love of a father to his daughters, to be strong despite it all. The love of family that embraced them and helped them throughout this illness. The love of friends who supported and held them all in their hearts and prayer. The love of strangers and acts of kindness that humbled all of us to our core. The love of a community, and the love of media. Who knew? But yes there was love between the media and the Ellmore family. The love of doctors and nurses from our country to Germany.
How far the love traveled because of Scott being so public? We will never know the impact on the lives of people we don't even know.
But Scott changed us, if you followed this you were changed. And the change is for the better.
I for one will never be the same person as I was eight months ago. I have seen too much goodness to ever be negative.
I will value love, and kindness and embrace mine and others shortcomings because it's what makes us human.
I will never be afraid to say hello to an old friend and embrace a new one.
I will trust forever that Gods plan is the right plan, and that illness and bad things belong to this world, God pulls us through, carries us when we need it and eventually will bring us home.
We will miss you, and we will cry,
but you gave hope, inspiration to all of us. We will all be together again.
That is forever a positive, and Scott my friend, you kept your promise once again, you made our news happy again.
Forever remember our Angel Scott, November 20, 1963- November 1, 2013

Hi Scott, Thanks for the tips and insights! You certainly have started many conversations and may be even have some starting an organic garden out there too!
Hi Scott. You probably don't remember us, but we are Wayne's kids from Jacksonville. My brother was still in the oven and I was a baby. This is one of our Father's Day gifts to my dad. Hope all is well and good luck. Hopefully you have many Happy Father's Days in the future! Stuart and Richard
I've never met you either Scott but wishing you all the best. Sadly, my brother is in a similar situation. He was diagnosed at the end of April with stage 4 lung cancer. It is in his liver, both hips and C1 are affected as well as his left shoulder. I came across your story trying to find help for him. He is 56, has always been a very hard worker, but unfortunately, has no health insurance at all. His wife, Nicki, has been by his side tirelessly looking for answers. She has researched much and is doing everything in her power to cure him. One form of treatment that is NOT FDA approved that could help is a supplement called B17. This is legal in other countries but not our own. I feel your pain in having to deal with such red tape to try to save your life. I greatly appreciate your story and wish nothing but the best for you and your family.
I've never meet you Scott Ellmore but my heart and prayers with great energy to restore your body to a complete healthy state of being is sent in your behalf. Stay strong and keep finding and getting what you need. My friends that read this, add funds as you can please. Thanks from one caring heart to another.
Scott Ellmore, I don't know how you did it, but you always brought a smile to everyone's face with your beautiful demeanor! You will fight this, I know you will!

Thank you everyone!! :-)
