Refugees Christmas Appeal 2017

Hundreds of refugees from a number of countries who are at this time waiting to have their requests to stay in Croatia approved are facing this winter unprepared for the cold weather. Contrary to the ever increasing negative public picture of refugees, shaped by the media and political negativism, most of the refugees are amazing, loving and generous young people. They are only seeking a country that will give them the opportunity to rebuild their lives in safety and protected against ideologically and war driven persecutions and threats to their lives. Waiting to receive a positive response from the government is a long, discouraging and depressing process. Let us help them as generously as we can. No gift is too small. Our goal is to collect at least $3000 by December 26th, 2017 and use your donated funds to help a group of refugees in Croatia get new winter jackets, socks, shoes, or whatever else they need to help them face this winter protected against cold.
