Help Phil, who has helped so many.

Phil is one of the most generous people in the world, giving is his art form and if you need the shirt on his back he will give it to you.  He worked harder than anyone I know but with many small business owners struggled to make ends meet.  He is a man that believes he will one day get caught up with debt... and bills... and taxes... never once considering bankruptcy as he believes that isn't the way out. 

Well unfortunately on Saturday, April 5th fate has caught up with him, he was out doing a kind gesture for a friend of the family and was in a very horrible car accident.  Funny thing is he always said to his family "don't go out on those roads there's black ice.  or be careful there is black ice." As many of us did we shrugged it off, but unfortunately that is exactly what happend, it almost seems like it was done for a lesson... see I told you black ice was bad!

Having no savings and being really far in debt, this man, who gave gave and gave of himself without a second thought his time and his skill as a builder to help so many.  One of his favourite things to do over the last 15 odd years is coach the Durham Dragons Special Hockey, and he did an amazing job!  He loves those players like no other, all of them with their varying degrees of different abilities all learned from his love of the game of hockey.

SO THIS IS WHERE HE NEEDS YOUR HELP...  Phil will be in the hospital for a long time, he has broken every rib ~ the right side of his body has multiple breaks in 9 of the ribs; front, side and back (these are the worst breaks).  He laserated his aorta which they have surgically repaired (10% success rate) and he has many internal injuries.  On Monday he was put on a breathing tube to help him and is now in a drug induced coma.  Prayers are awesome, well wishes gratefully accepted, however he needs time to recuperate and because this was a weather related incident there is not a ton of insurance money.

We need to keep his world in tact as much as possible so that when he comes home and it is familiar to him, but we cannot do that without him.  We cannot afford that without him.  HELL WE CAN'T LIVE without him, so please if you want to help, please give to this fund to help his world stay in tact long enough to help him recuperate.
