Help Niko Beat Cancer

2019 was off to a great start for our dear friend Niko Rummell. He just finished a work project, was performing regularly with his band, and was looking forward to a trip to Japan. Unfortunately, Niko was recently diagnosed with testicular cancer.
Due to the tumor’s rapid growth, there was no time to wait: Niko needed surgery right away, and on Valentine’s Day doctors successfully removed a tumor. His physical recovery left him bedridden for a week, but he remained in high spirits. However, the cancer has spread to his lymph nodes by his waist and he has now begun 10 weeks of chemotherapy, in hopes it will eliminate any chance of cancer spreading further throughout his body.
At this point, he’s currently in the process of undergoing treatment and it’s difficult to see the toll chemo takes on our lively friend; it’s hard to catch him at a time when he’s awake, and when he is, his energy levels are low. In his words, “I’ll take the flu any day over this.” (Or, for his fellow film industry nerds, “It’s like two overnights in a row with a crappy sandwich o’clock.”)
Niko has been forced to take a leave from work. Insurance is covering the chemo sessions, but keeping up with daily living expenses is a struggle. Any donations given to help Niko overcome his adversity would be greatly appreciated. He’s a great guy who is loved by many people; let’s make it seem like his life was never put on hold from cancer.
