Help my sister fight to survive
About a little over six months ago my sister began to not be able to eat and when she did it would just come back up again. She went to dr. after dr. with no answers as to why. She started loosing alot of weight eventually turning into not being able to drink anything either including water. She has gone weeks without eating or drinking anything and without trying to as well. She has gone from 121 lbs to 81 lbs. They have recently put her on a picc line to do hydration therapy to try to get her to gain weight and help her try to eat and hold it down. She has been in the hospital 5 times alone this year. They cannot run anymore test until she is able to gain some weight and hold something down. She has lost so much energy she can barely get out of bed on occassions and is not able to work at the moment. We are financially struggling with bills and medical bills trying to get her healthy again I am reaching out and asking for help any little amount would be greatly appreciated so that away she is able to take time off from work and focus on getting better and not be stressed out about worrying about how she is going to afford bills.+ Read More
Bonnie had her surgery a little over a month ago with getting the enterra device placed. So far she has been able to eat little amounts she still has the nausea along with bad days of not being able to eat. Since her surgery and where the device is placed there are certain clothing that are uncomfortable so we went through her closet gtting rid of items that she can no longer wear leaving her with a short array of clothing especially bottoms. Clothing donations would be appreciated. Items she can wear are dresses without the middle seams, leggings or pants with little to no waist band, skirts and shirts. Items she cannot wear anything that is tight such as jeans or tight looking shirts. Sizes are girls 14-16 in shirts and bottoms or 10-12 in shirts or juniors xs-s in bottoms. Nothing with buttons or zippers. Thank you
Bonnie is back in the hospital with pneumonia and staph infection they have her on four antibiotics theyvare unsure when she will b discharged we are having to pay for her own private room bc insurance does not cover it and sharing a room is only making her more sick since we moved her she has gotten a little better but each night is 135 dollars a night
Bonnie finally got approved for the surgery as well as long term disability but was informed that in order to keep her insurance she is responsible for her monthly premiums or she will loose her insurance as well as the approval for the surgery. Right now she is 6 weeks behind and owes 200 dollars and 128 per month.
They have started her back on the TPN and are still trying to get the enterra device surgery approved. It got denied due to the insurance saying that there was not enough evidence, it was still in experimental stages and it was not FDA approved.
