Mason's Medical Fund

Hi all, I'm sad to say that my pup Mason was attacked by another dog yesterday. I took him to the emergency vet right away when I noticed that he could not walk. This was their diagnosis:

"Mason was evaluated after he was pinned at the neck by another dog. At this time he is unable to balance and walk using his right side. It is possible that he sustained a disc hernia or herniations that are not obvious on his x-rays, as well as deeper trauma (such as brusing and swelling of the spinal cord itself that provides function to the limbs on his right side). To truly identify an exact cause, advanced imaging such as MRI or CT are required. He may take several weeks to months to recover. It is also possible that he will not recover completely as well."

The bill ended up being $799.68 and I need to pay it back as soon as possible. In addition, we need to get Mason an MRI as soon as possible to treat him for any brain or spinal damage. Unfortunately, the owner of the attacking dog is unwilling to compensate for any of his treatment.
