Help us help Luke fight cancer

Meet Luke . He is a 7 year old American bulldog! The love of our life!! He was diagnosed with mast cell sarcoma and neurofibromas in February 2015. University of Florida Small Animal clinic had to do 4 doses of chemo to shrink the mast cell that was close to his nerves. We finally had the tumor small enough to remove safely. They were able to do a surgery on March 12th removed both the neurofibromas & mast cell leaving him with a big scar. After surgery he had to do another 4 doses of chemotherapy just to be safe. April he was finally in remission. Middle of May he woke up with swelling & couldn't walk. May 2015, We went In to see Dr. Bowles at UF small animal clinic on a sunny day thinking everything was ok and the swelling was maybe just a side effect from the surgery. When she came out of the room my stomach dropped she told us it came back but this time it's worse. She told us there's other chemos and radiations we can do. One chemo session is $400. He has to have ultrasounds/blood work/ cat scans, which cost up to $1500. They recommend us to do this treatment because if we don't he will live a painful life. Dr. Bowles said other than the cancer he is a healthy dog. Thanks to his son Nova who helped him stay active. She said surgery is not an option at this point . Right now he's getting chemo every 3 weeks. & blood work every 2 weeks. Ct scans and ultrasounds once a month. We are trying to raise money to help him and other dogs who have this cancer. Any money that is not used for Luke will go to UF for research. We want to thank everyone for your support !!! - Josephine and Bobby Walker."Help us find a cure!"
