Help L out of hell

Someone I know is trapped in a horrifically abusive marriage. She wants to leave but he controls her money, has taken and hidden her passport and keeps tabs on her movements using her phone. She tried to leave once before but failed because she didn't have enough money behind her and was worried that she couldn't provide for her two children. She isn't originally from this country although she is now British, which means she has no family locally to help her and he has made quite sure she has no time for friends.

If she had some money behind her to put down a deposit on a flat, she would at least have somewhere to go. She has a job now so after that, she could keep her own money and once legal proceedings had started, he would have to provide maintenance for the children. She just needs to get over that first hurdle.

I have offered to manage the money side of things so he never sees or has access to it.
