Helping Camels Worldwide

“Camels see the world from a unique point of view.”


Following 3 months of hurricane/cyclone relief work in Fiji, helping rebuild villages and putting lives back together, we (Nick and Rhiannon) heard about the catastrophic fire in California and chose to fly directly to Lake County and jump straight into rebuilding The Sacred Camel Gardens, a unique preserve for the rare Bactrian Camel.

The Sacred Camel Gardens has a lot to share and offer others. Join us in supporting their unique approach and vision to flourish.


10% of monies raised will be donated to The Wild Camel Protection Foundation  in Mongolia.

For donations $1000 or over, consider donating directly to The Sacred Camel Gardens for tax write off purposes.

Here, below, are just some of the projects that your support makes possible:

· Constructing new stables for the camels with office, clinic room, and tack room

· Fencing materials for a new 100 acre camel pasture

· Construction of a spacious camel and horse training arena

· Building a relaxing, educational, visitors center

· Creating 10 cozy yurts to house our guests

· Building accommodation yurts for volunteers and interns

· Spreading gravel for road improvements throughout the camel pastures

· Improving trenches and drainage systems

· Purchasing a second-hand pick-up truck and a backhoe/tractor

We would like to give a special thank you to all those who donated funds following last year’s ravaging fire. Your generosity facilitated the clearing of debris, building a new fireproof tool shed, a new feed storage structure, a new hay barn, a new water tank and pump camel watering, and thousands of feet of new fencing.
