Dickerson Family Fund
Jeryl Cordelle Dickerson went Kayaking with a friend on the morning of May 7, 2014 and he had not been seen since. I am broken hearted to report that after almost a 3 week search, Jeryl's body was found on the evening of Sunday May 25, 2014 at 11:30PM during Memorial day weekend. Jeryl would have turned 23 years old on Tuesday June the 3rd, 2014.
Jeryl's mother Serene and Ashley, the mother of Jeryl's 7 month old twins (Ava & Antony) will be relocating by the end of the month to the VA Beach / Norfolk area. Jeryl’s brother Aaron, a member of the United States Navy, will be adopting Jeryl’s young twins and raise them with the continued support of Ashley, Serene and the rest of Jeryl’s family. There will be many expenses involved in relocating the family to have the support they need. There will be a private fund raiser held on Saturday June 21st at 12:00 PM in Fredericksburg VA. If you wish to participate or would like a press pass, please contact me directly.
I am working hard to continue to raise funds to help the family with relocation expenses, arrangements and funds for Ava & Antony’s future.
If you wish to donate directly please send checks to Friends of Jeryl Dickerson C/O IceWarp, Inc. 6225 Brandon Ave. Suite 310, Springfield VA 22150. Checks payable to Serene Dickerson (Jeryls’ mother). Any help is appreciated. IceWarp, Inc. will match donations up to a total of $5000.00
Questions about donations can be directed to Lisa Caputo 571-481-4611 ext. 1107 or IceWarp PR department at 571-481-4611 ext. 1102.
Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers for the family.
Ashley iam so sorry for your loss but now you can find closure. I want you to know thT your family here in alabama love you and are praying for you and the babies Dailey! We love you mama Joyce, Cindy, and Lisa....
I truly want to thank each and every person that has donated and those that continue to help and spread the word. J meant the world to me, my babies, and his family and friends! He was an amazing person and the best father I could have ever asked for! Even though Antony and Ava only got to spread 6 months with him I will continue to keep his spirit alive every day and they will know how much he loved them and what a wonderful person he was! There will be many tough days ahead and our lives are forever changed without them. But the most important thing to Jeryl is that our children are happy, healthy, and always taken care of! With your help I know that I can do that and he is looking down on us with a happy heart! I am eternally grateful to each and every one of you, especially Lisa for all she has done to set this fund up! God bless!
