Helping to raise funds to support the family

We are hoping to raise money to support a much appreciated friend and his young thriving, long time local proserpine  family.  Damian was violently and cowardly assaulted in a sickening attack, leaving him in a temporary coma.  I won't go into exact details as they are quite graphic, but the picture unfortunately speaks a thousand words. He sustained several fractures to his skull, cheek, jaw and two on his left arm.  We are forever grateful to the staff at proserpine hospital for their promt and effective treatment before he was flown to Townsville where he still remains.   Without this assistance for the injuries he sustained,  he would not be with us today fighting his injuries.  Damian has a partner and two young children he supports by working as a supervisor at a local concrete plant,  which of course he will be unable to do for some time to come,  if ever depending on surgeries and at this stage we just don't know. Both Damian and his partner are both employed, Damian full time and his partner part time but at this stage neither of them can work and as we all know the bills and expenses never stop. Damians  partner is obviously distraught,  so we have set this go fund me page up for her, Damian and his children in the hope that the community will give whatever they can to make the healing process just that little bit easier and relieve them of financial burden which no doubt will put pressure on both of them. Both Damian and his partner will always go out of their way to help others often at their expense with no questions asked and asking nothing in return, they are just that type of people.
