Helping those with ObstetricFistula

Donation protected
To help raise money for Nigerian women suffering with Obstetric Fistula, students from Wyke College will be taking on the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge in January 2018. The challenge is to complete the strenuous 24 mile uphill hike in under 12 hrs.

Obstretic Fistula is a hole in a woman's vagina after prolonged labour that causes an uncontrolable flow of blood, urine and even faeces. In it very common in low-resource countries that give birth without minimal medical help. Women suffering from Obstretic Fistula often lose their baby, and are rejected by their husband and their village due to her foul smell.

We want to raise money to buy sewing machines and other equipment for women in Nigeria suffering from this horrible condition. This will allow these women to create a livelihood once again.
