This Fundraiser is for the Savannah Solis's Family, She is the Young Lady that has gone to over 22 States and England and Written over 6000 "Thank You" cards to Law Enforcement Officers that she has met along her Way. Now She needs your Help. Her Mother, Debbie, has Suffered her 4th Heart Attack last Friday. Not only that, Savannah and her Older Brother are having their own Serious Medical Issues too.

Their Father/Husband, Scott Solis, has written a Note on their GOFundMe Page Explaining the Issues surrounding these issues and the Medical Bills that are Coming in. Please Help Savannah's Family to get through these trying times. We cannot let Debbie to be Stressed with Medical Bills and worry about her Two Children that are also ill.

I give Blue Alert permission to start a go fund me page to help with expenses that have incurred due to several medical issues. My son Jabez has Chiari malformation and had to have decompression surgery back in August of 2018, since then, he has had some numbing in his arm(complications from surgery); we have had several MRIs to determine these issues with more to come.

Furthermore, our sweet Savannah suffered a set back as well from a rare autoimmune called HSP. She was diagnosed in November and placed on medication to help. Bloodwork was done to determine that none of her organs were affected by the disease. However, she began to have unusual swelling in her ankles, further, bloodwork indicates her kidneys could have suffered from HSP. She is going to a specialist to clarify the severity of damage.

Then, the unforeseen happened, my wife suffered a Heart attack this past Friday, this is the fourth attack in a span of 8 years, this happened due to the stress of prior issues with our kiddos, working full time, full-time student. My wife also suffers from a disease called Lupus, she has been able to manage lupus by eating healthy and taking natural supplements. However, stress triggers symptoms with Lupus (Heart Attack) these issues have caused her to have heart spasms within her chest which caused the heart attack. I am very concerned for her and us (we need her) doctor says that these episodes which are stress induced could cause fatal damage. She is home now and resting ( Praise God!) we pray that she will not have further complications.

With all of this, we have had the opportunity to show God’s love to those we have encountered through this difficult time, nothing is done without purpose. We will continue to fight the good fight of faith. Our resolve as a family comes from our faith and foundation Jesus Christ.

Feb 23 Update:

The doctor just came in and said it would probably be best if JB didn’t have any visitors today. He wants him to rest his brain and not overwork his neck. He had a rough night. It’s just an ugly sight with the vomiting and the pain. JB doesn’t want anyone to see him like this. They are going to try to get him up in a chair for a few minutes today. Thank you everyone for caring. We love all of you. It means the world to us. Sorry I haven’t been able to respond to all the messages. I’ll keep you updated. Have a blessed Saturday.

Feb 22 Update:

They are trying to get JB’s heart rate down. He’s in a lot of pain which is to be expected. He’s already throwing up ‍♀️. His face is very swollen. I hate seeing him like this. Tough recovery. Thank you for the continued prayers. They said it would be best if he didn’t have a lot of visitors. We need to get JB well first. We are so overwhelmed by all the love and support. Thank you for all the messages and texts.

Update: 2/8/2019

First, thank you for praying for our family. We have been deeply touched by all the kindness and love.

We went to JB’s appointment today. Unfortunately, it is worse than before the last surgery. They have to do surgery again and remove part of the cerebellum. If untreated the neurosurgeon said it will cause paralysis. He said it’s delicate because it’s by main arteries in the brain, but the doctor has never had a problem doing this surgery.

JB is losing feeling on the upper left side of his body. So we feel this is the best decision to go forward. His surgery will be Friday, February 22.

We spoke today with the nurse regarding Savannah. Some of the blood work is not back. We may not even get the full results until Monday. However, they told us the other results came back. She had 4 tests come back very low. One of those was her white blood count. She said it would be best for Savannah to refrain from going to hospitals or a lot of public places just because her immune system is so low. We will update everyone once we get full results. In the meantime, she is on water pills to get fluid off the legs and a low sodium diet to help with her kidneys.

Update by Scott, the Father: 2/7/2019

What a day:
So, my daughter, Savannah went to Cooks Hospital in Fort Worth and saw a kidney specialist. They did a ton of labs, but are very concerned about her protein levels. They will call us tomorrow with results. Today they are prescribing water pills to help remove fluid off her legs. Depending on blood work tomorrow, they will start her on steroids. Possibly steroids through an IV. Worst case scenario they will do a biopsy on kidneys and go from there. If it is lupus, they will refer her to a pediatric rheumatologist.

They gave more detail as to the seriousness but it’s too much to type. We’re praying there is no damage to Savannah’s kidneys.

Now, as we were leaving Cooks Children’s hospital in Ft Worth, we get a call from the neurosurgeon from Children’s in Dallas regarding my son, JB’s MRI on Tuesday. They need us to come back to Dallas tomorrow. They said he’s worse than before. They will have to go back and repeat the surgery on the brain, but this time, unfortunately, they will have to remove a portion of the brain causing longer and harder recovery. This is why he’s losing feeling on his left side.

This is a difficult time seeing Debbie’s heart issue and the stress of everything that’s going on. She’s recovering from her 4th heart attack. Her heart is damaged and weakened and can’t afford to have more spasms which are caused by stress.

Our family is in a very difficult time and we are asking EVERYONE to pray for our family. Medical bills are piling. I’m having to take off work going back and forth to Dallas. The only thing that gives us peace, is our faith in Jesus Christ. We know He is in control and we will honor God no matter what circumstance we face. God bless you.
