Irby Family of Grand Forks, ND. Need All Our Help

Donation protected
As if this family hasn't suffered! When is enough, enough? They lost their pregnancy in June... Still haven't gone through that, which was a devastating blow to us all, especially Kevin and Megan. Then the family  suffers a car crash to which they are still experiencing devastating effects, flooding of their basement, and now they're waiting for results of possible cancer of their beloved pet dog, Diggy. God gives you so much to handle, right? So how much more can they expect amongst their ongoing dire needs, medical, bills and stress? If you can donate anything to help this family, I implore you to do so. Please.

Kevin, Megan Irby and family experienced a near-death rollover auto accident on Labor Day, Monday, Sept 2nd, 2019. Local meteorologist, John Wheeler, of  WDAY TV news, reported that several severe storms spun out of nowhere. The family came upon such a storm while returning home and was involved in a terrible rollover accident just outside of East Grand Forks, Minnesota. The family prides itself in taking care of one another, so this is a hard post to make, reaching out and asking for help from wherever you are. This is a most humble and necessary request to ask.

Their struggles, and the memory of seeing their children dangling upside down looking lifeless when the car came to a stop upside down, will haunt them for an unknown amount of time. Not knowing if your babies are hurt or not is a feeling no one wants to experience. We can only imagine what that looked like or felt like for them. We cannot heal that or their physical pain as they did not completely come out unscathed, but we hope to help relieve majors stressors. Megan's husband , Kevin Irby, and herself were the only ones physically injured in the accident as three children were with them. The emotional and mental damage of everyone is unknown. Which brings us to this. We do not know when Megan and Kevin will return to work...hopefully it will not be a lengthy time, but we want them to not be burdened by that stress as they heal. They had/have insurance, but insurance only goes so far and has a limit on what will be covered.

We ask you to please help this family as they need our help in many ways. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts and hope that you'll reach into your heart to donate what you can to help this family or even share their story.
If you cannot donate please, please share this story with your loved ones. Share it so they see just how important seat belts and car seats are. There is no doubt in our minds that they could have died during this incident had they all not been buckled in. Every window broke, every child could have flown out of the car as it rolled and bounced at highway speeds. Their seat belts and car seats saved them! There is no doubt about that!!!

If you ever question your car seat please, please take it to Safe Kids and get your car seat checked. That is what they are there for.  The importance of having your child's/children's car seat in correctly is unmeasurable. The unthinkable happens.
Stay safe and tell those you love how much you love them, every chance you get. You never know when something bad will happen. We ask again for your support.  We thank you so very much!
