Helping Sergeant Carroll

Donation protected
In February 2000, Sergeant Susan Carroll, Poplar Bluff Police Department, was diagnosed with Progressive Multiple Sclerosis And was forced to take medical retirement due to her declining mobility. Susan has been a police officer for 18 years and was one of the first D.A.R.E Officers in the state of Missouri. Since then her condition has deteriorated and her diagnosis elevated to Chronic Progressive Multiple Sclerosis. She is now a quadriplegic. She and her husband, David, have exhausted their savings and have resorted to using a credit card to help pay for daily and medical expenses. Insurance has been paying for In-Home Nursing but their continuing to do so has been tenuous at best. It is a constant battle. Any amount of assistance would be humbly appreciated.
