Padric Payton, our friend/brother/son, is very ill and needs financial help. Without special treatments he will not be able to survive. Padric has been suffering from a myriad of complex health issues for the last 16 years. What appears now to be a number of auto-immune illnesses have progressed, undiagnosed, since then.

The last 3 years have seen Padric decline drastically; physically, mentally and spiritually. But throughout his illness Padric has kept working, pushing through agonizing days to make money to pay for dozens of specialists and treatments, an outlay of tens of thousands of dollars… and  when he is able, working hard spiritually, psychologically and on his physical body – in order to keep his sanity. This is becoming almost impossible now, as the illness seem to be taking him over. Finances have been exhausted chasing answers. The last 3 months things have become critical – a matter of life and death. He is in pain 24/7 and is becoming weaker and weaker. He is now barely able to work or care for himself fully.

Finally real diagnoses are coming in and specific treatments are needed.  Because of the rarity and complexity of his diseases, the specialists involved (from UCLA, USC, Cedars Sinai, etc.) are not covered by his insurance and the cost of treatments are not covered. The hope is to get treatment for the following: Mast Cell Activation Syndrome, Dysautonomia  , Complex Regional Pain Syndromes and PTSD. Funding is desperately needed for consistent treatments and specialist appointments including Stem Cell Treatments, Exosome Injections, Deep sequencing of microbiome and FMT for immune and gut/brain healing, Fecal transplant, Physical Therapist and on-going appointments with specialists. To be able to see if the treatments work, Padric needs to have the financial stability to see it through.  

Padric has been part of our family since he was two years old. It has been difficult to see the suffering he endures every day of his life. He is a brilliant young man, an artist – musician, writer and poet, a nature lover, formerly athletic - and a sweet, gentle soul and has more to contribute in this life… see the photos!

There is now a treatment plan that holds promise to restore Padric’s health. Most people will understand how painful it is to try to get treatment when you are constantly desperate about finances. To stay alive has become financially crippling for him and his mother, who he is currently living with, and his father, both of whom are helping support him but are running out of funds.

We hope you can find it in your hearts and pockets - anything you can spare - to help. We hope to raise $30,000 to help him get through this, to the other side of this nightmare.

Illness has stolen so much from Padric. - in the prime of his youth - his vitality, his music, professional opportunities, financial security, relationships and so much more. If there was ever a time to offer help by donating anything financially, it is now.
