Please Help Us Get Back to the US From NZ

Facing A Family Emergency
My husband, Mitch, and I are appealing to Humanists and Animal Lovers to help us pay for all of us to move back to the US from New Zealand. We just found out that our visas would be expiring after several years of medical service in a poor, rural area, and would not be renewed. We have been given one month to leave, or we would be considered "overstayers", with Immigration's full penalties.
We have been active and successful helping terminal cancer patients, entirely for free. We have insufficient funds to leave on such short notice. We sold everything we had, just to get here, and are in the process of selling everything we own again. Mitch's Social Security doesn't go far in this expensive country.
We will have to find residence, transportation, and employment quickly, when we get home. Our families are helping wherever they can. Mitch is in the process of finding employment in the medical field.
Lucy is a totally loyal, protective Jack Russell who we rescued from a shelter some years ago in the US. She endured her first Air New Zealand international flight heroically well.
Jed and Blake are identical, inseparable Tabby cats that we rescued locally in NZ. Their game of "Ignore The Humans" is tempered only by their need for food and shelter. They can make a cat-lover out of the steeliest heart.
Lucy, Jed, and Blake face an uncertain future without your help to return to Charleston, SC. Our pets are like children to us. We cannot conceive of not having them with us. We promised them when we rescued them that we would love and provide for them til their end of days.
Our dream is to all return home together after a 4.5 year experience which was rewarding and transformative. We ask for your help to enable us to ALL get back home together. With Trust in God, and help from our friends, we have Faith that this will all work out, although the prospects seem overwhelming from here.
