Helping family through tragedy

It pains me to be setting this up as our family has always been a very prideful one, however several members of our family could really use some help right now. As some of you may know, my brother-in-law Kevin, suffered a very serious head injury on May 26th and has been in the ICU at Memorial Hermann in critical but stable condition since. In the past week Kevin has already undergone multiple surgeries and will likely require several more in the weeks to come as well as long term physical and occupational therapy.  The recovery process is going to be long and only time will tell the lasting effects of his injuries.  Since Kevin can no longer work, his medical insurance will soon lapse and his family will begin to feel the effects of the loss of his income.  For those that don’t know, Kevin and his husband, Larry (Bubba), have two boys that they adopted a couple years ago who still need to be provided for.  Larry will have to go back to work soon, but for the time being he has been out of work to be by Kevin’s side and to try and figure out life.  
This will be a long, stressful road for Kevin, Larry and the boys so if we can try to alleviate some of the financial burden that is to come it will help them out tremendously.  These four have such a huge support system between family and friends and I know that we can all come through for them in their time of need.
