Helping Families in Augusta GA

We are a sibling group hosting a lemonade stand (with some friends) to raise money. We want to sponsor a family in need (or several) to have a Thanksgiving or Christmas meal. We will be holding our SWEET lemonade stand for this SWEET cause over the next few Saturdays in Georgia. Yet we wanted to allow a place for people who want to give, but were unable to stop by our stand.

"Hi. My siblings and I serve at Broad Street Ministry Center. It is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization that serves the working poor in downtown Augusta (GA). We have been serving here for several years now and there are so many things we love about Broad Street. One of the ministries we love is PROJECT 61.
PROJECT 61 is a ministry that provides a full meal for Thanksgiving and Christmas for the working poor.
They can cook and celebrate the meal in their homes with family. It includes a ham or turkey and all the fixings.
It even includes Dessert!!
We are just kids, but even kids can make a difference!
Especially with your help!
We want to help Broad Street raise money for PROJECT 61.
$25 pays for one family of 4 to get a full meal, but any amount would help. Having served here we have gotten to know these special people who have jobs and are doing their best for their families. We would love for them to have a special holiday meal.
We are setting a high goal of helping Broad Street feed 300 families with a holiday meal. All families are working poor and/or show proof of eligibility. Would you like to sponsor a family for $25 or give another amount? Every dollar helps. And if you can't give at this time please pray for Broad Street Ministry Center in Augusta GA and all the people they serve. "
