Thank your for taking the time to read about our incredible friend Brent and the journey he & his family are on. Please help lift them up in prayer and/or financially if you are able! We want them to focus on time together & not worrying about extra expenses.
Phrases like 'he is one of the absolute best humans I know' are quite common when people talk about Brent Huppert (45). He's an amazing husband to his wife Natasha and best papa to Nico (11) and Cristian (8).
Brent's Journey:
In January of 2018. Brent was diagnosed with Stage IV stomach cancer. His battle started with a clinical trial for immunotherapy. He had great results and remained stable for over six months. He started a chemo regimen after that and it seemed to work at first, however he has now hit a blip in his journey. His oncologists recommended he go back on an immunotherapy clinical trial so he hasn't had treatments for about four weeks. He has developed fluid buildup in his stomach and one lung that has cancerous cells. Over the past few months he has had zero appetite or energy and has lost 30 pounds. We are hopeful that more immunotherapy will be successful and get him back on his journey to recovery.
Our daily routine has become much more difficult lately. We are certainly optomistic that Brent can keep working full time, so for now we'd like to request some financial assistance for prepared meals, house cleaning and hopefully another trip in the near future. We are truly humbled by everyone's kind acts every day along this journey ❤
