Helping Cara rebuild fund
On super bowl Sunday, while most of us were having a good time, Clallam Bay resident Cara Cowdrey lost her home and belongings to a devastating house fire. Cara is a hard worker and quick to help others whenever she can, especially elders and "under dogs." She donates countless hours to cleaning up garbage on our beautiful beaches. While nothing can be done to ease the pain of the loss of her personal and sentimental items, I am hoping we can all come together to help support her and ease some of the financial burdens of completely starting over. She has been staying 'here and there' and has spent some cold nights in her car but will soon be settling into a small fixer upper trailer. Her most immediate needs are: to rent a large dumpster to clean up remains, rent a porta-potty and hook up electricity. The trailer needs killz and paint etc.. if anyone has any lumber, building materials, tools ,household items etc. Please consider donating! I have a storage unit where things will be kept safe until cara moves 'home' and we're hoping that will be very soon! I will make progress / needs updates. Please donate money if you can!
