First allow me to tell you a little about me, My Name is Osjha, which means purity. I am the daughter of Anthony and Ucher Dent and Andrew and Doris Cooper. Currently, I am an eleventh grade Student-Athlete at Thomasville High School in Thomasville Georgia, where I received honors as being voted on the Second Team All AAA Region basketball season. Kingdom Ambassador Ministries is my current House of Worship, where I am active member. I truly love God with all my heart. God has blessed me with my height. I stand 6’3” tall. Honestly, I hated how tall He had made me, but now I see that my height is a blessing and not a curse, by using my height to be a blessing to God and others through playing basketball. I desire to play basketball in college while studying courses in Biology in hopes to be accepted to Medical School and pursue a career as an OB/GYN. This summer I have been given another opportunity to basketball with the Georgia Dream Team AAU/Traveling Basketball Team. This is my third year with the playing AAU and I can say that it has been a great experience to travel, compete, meet new friends and do something I now Love to do, play basketball. While playing in Kentucky in April, I have received several looks from D-1 colleges and other schools. I really want to go to college and I know my parents are unable to fully financially pay for college. I have the potential to receive a full ride, but I have to be seen. My coaches are Guy Coleman and Coach Stephens. Playing AAU sports is very costly. We have to pay for travel, hotels, food and etc. This year we are scheduled to play in 40+ games. Of course, we have fundraisers and all; however it doesn’t meet all of our monetary needs. I am asking you to help sponsor me. I am asking for your help. Whatever amount you donate is a blessing.
