Helping a Houstonian - John Hall

The devastation in the Houston area due the flooding from  Hurricane Harvey is beyond what most of us have ever seen, let alone experienced firsthand.   Fluor has multiple offices and projects in this area, and many of our employees have been impacted.  Among the hardest hit of our Fluor family was John Hall from the Deer Park office.  John is a loving husband to Kim, doting father to Alana, a dedicated employee, and a great friend to many of us in Fluor's offices around the country. John has worked for Fluor for more than 30 years, having started his career as a craftworker.

John and his family had recently moved to a new home, and most of their belongings were still packed in boxes. Because the flood waters hit at night, they were unable to save anything.  John and Kim narrowly escaped the rising flood waters.

Our goal is to show John, Kim and Alana how important they are to our Fluor family. The best thing we can do right now is to raise money to help them in rebuilding their lives.  Please donate with your heart, in any amount that you can, and know that every single dollar will help.  This need is immediate. 

I work in Human Resources in Fluor's Greenville office, and have known John for more than ten years.  These funds will help John to find temporary housing in the short term, as well as purchase  furniture, clothing, appliances, and replace all the other household items they have lost once they are able to purchase a new home.  The funds raised through this site will be delivered electronically directly to John.
