Helping a Great Friend and Neighbor

I am putting together a fund request for Lidi Laurence, a darling friend and neighbor of mine in Lake Lucerne who is going through a serious medical issue alone.

Lidi recently noticed she was having some issues with her left eye. After several doctor visits, she learned she has a detached retina and 4 tears in her eye. She had to have a very difficult eye surgery.

Her surgery was just yesterday, Jan 7. She is in a lot of pain. She cannot work or drive for 2 months. We visited her yesterday and she is having quite a bit of difficulty getting around her own house.

I know what a loving community Lake Lucerne is and what wonderful friends we have. 

Tom and I are helping Lidi out directly but I thought I'd put this GoFundMe campaign together to help ease the burdens she will be facing from not working for the next 2 months. 

Any little bit helps and I know how grateful she will be.  I hope you can help me help her.
