Helping a 5th Grader Realize a Dream

Our 5th grade students have been learning professional etiquette and manners since September. They have competed in 3 rounds of competition (including a district level competition) for us to identify our top 3 students. We are taking 2 students (and their parents) to Atlanta, Georgia to compete in the National Amazing Shake competition at the Ron Clark Academy. We have almost raised half the money needed to take our 3rd place student - but we need help raising the rest.
The student we are raising money for has been talking about this competition all year. He has worked so hard to make these skills a part of his character. This student doesn't always shine academically, and has had some struggles to overcome. This competition has allowed him to shine and has given him so much motivation and hope. He has demonstrated such perseverance, positivity, and sportsmanship during the competition. He deserves to feel this sense of pride and accomplishment; to represent his school at a National level competition.
The money raised through this campaign will help sponsor his trip. It will pay for: food, lodging, travel, and registration for the competition.
