Mr Ross's Orphanage in Cambodia

Hi! I have recently decided to shave my hair, not only for my personal growth, but I also saw it as an opportunity for generousity. 

I will be:
1.  Donating my hair to the childrens charity Variety.org
2.  Raising funds to go towards helping Mr Ross's Orphanage and English school in Siem Reap, Cambodia

I visited this orphanage while I was traveling last year. We helped out in the afternoon teaching english and playing with the kids. 

Mr Ross is an just ordinary Cambodian with a big heart and desire to help. He has taken around 20 orphans under his wing and runs 2 English schools.

The learning facilities I witnessed there were extremely poor. Most of their classrooms are outdoors, underneath a patio with tiny homemade desks. Some learning spaces were just simply a park bench with a small whiteboard.

During monsoon season the whole school is flooded, reducing their time to learn. 

Some of the childrens parents were so poor, they went to work in thailand illegally and got arrested by the Thai police, leaving their children behind. 

Due to political and financial hardships Mr Ross has had to temporarily close his schools, as he cant afford clothes, books etc. A priveldige that we take for granted.

Mr Ross has asked for a few very simple things:
1. School supplies
2. Clothes
3. Bikes - for the children to travel to and from school

Please help me in supporting the children in Cambodia. The after effects of the Khmer Rouge during the 1970s have ruined the country (if you dont know about the Khmer Rouge, I highly recommend googling it) Wiping out 1/4 of the Cambodia population, inducing extreme poverty and lack of education.
