Buying Gear Shop is happening for me. I've raised more than half the funds and I've spent a week learning at the shop so far. At this point if you'd like to support me I consider it a transaction. Everyone who has supported me I'm going to make sure you've all gotten your money's worth.

Here is a litle ditty I made up at the start when I was desperate.

Though Eric was the main driving force behind Gear he didn't do it alone. He had skilled and incredibly useful people supporting him along the way. I want to continue the relationships he built and develop a support network of my own. I'm in the middle of the beginning of learning this business and I'm loving it.

I have plans to grow this business while maintaining a good life/work balance. I have so many people in my life I love and that love me. I foresee such a bright future now that I'm taking the reigns of this shop. I'm not big on predestination but I'm sure I'm waking the right path with this.

I've been creative and realistic with the rewards program. If you have any suggestions or desires I'll gladly fulfill then. I can get you a custom built, fit frame with the sexiest chain rings in the world with custom engraving. I'm getting in stock with custom artwork that I love. Imagine a custom painted pair of cons. I can bring that to the table now.

Buying this shop has been a trying journey but never have I faltered. Now the reality is coming upon us and I know this is the best possible result for my life. As the LBS in West End I'm going to do my best to make everyone feel welcome and satisfy the needs of fixie/single speed aficionados.

I'm so grateful for this opportunity and the support every one has given.
