Help the Moorhouses Beat ALL

September 18, 2015 was supposed to be a celebration on the anniversary of 11 years of marriage for Chris and Ali Moorhouse, but severe back pain caused Chris to seek treatment.  Blood tests, X-Rays, and a bone marrow biopsy later diagnosed Chris with Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia (ALL).


Chris has already started chemotherapy (2 days after his diagnosis!!!) and will be hospitalized for at least the next 4 weeks.  He has been receiving blood products and clotting factors in addition to his chemotherapy.  His immune system is so fragile right now, he is unable to see his children in person, but tries everyday to chat with them via Facetime.


Chris had been working 6 days a week as an electrician prior to his diagnosis to support his growing family.  Ali and Chris have 3 beautiful children (Bailey, Emi, and Lillie) and a baby #4 will make their debut in December!!


Currently the Moorhouses are renting a townhome in Ashburn Village as they previously had to foreclose on their home in 2010 due to an unstable job market.  Chris and Ali had finally started to have financial freedom since the foreclosure (they were even able to  take their dream vacation to Disney World this past March).  Unfortunately, ALL and its treatment put the patient at very high risk for infections and will more than likely require the family to relocate to a new construction home free of mold and mildew.


Now with Chris and his battle against ALL, he is unable to work (and unsure in what way he can return to work after his battle is WON!!!).  This GoFundMe account is being set up to assist with the financial burden and help support the Moorhouses and the long road to recovery.
