UPDATE: Please join me on Wednesday, June 1 for a Benefit Recital. This will not only help me reach my fundraising goal but it will give me a chance to give back to you for all the support!!! There will be over an hour of music featuring music from two local LA composers. I am so excited to share this evening of music with you. It will begin at 7:30pm at the community room in the First Christian Church of North Hollywood (4390 Colfax Ave, Studio City, CA 91604). See you there! Tickets are $25. Hello friends!! I am SO excited to announce that I have been accepted into a wonderful summer voice program called Musiktheater Bavaria. This program will take place in Oberaudorf, Germany during the month of July. There, I will have weekly voice lessons, coachings, dance lessons, German language classes, perform in master classes, studio classes, concerts for the public, opera scenes, etc. Perhaps the most exciting part for me is getting the opportunity to have a mock audition with Klein Management which is a German-based management company.
This program is unique because they accept 30 students and have 20 faculty members so it is incredibly individualized and intimate. I have never trained outside of the US so this will be a new opportunity for me. This will give me the proper training I need to further my operatic career.
For those of you who don't know too much about me, I'm a soprano who was born and raised in Santa Barbara. I attended Chapman University for my undergrad and recently graduated from the USC Thornton School of Music with my masters degree in opera/vocal arts.
