Andie Kolb - Rebuilding from Floods

There are good humans and there are incredible humans.  My dear friend, Andie St John Kolb is an Amazing human.  She sets the gold standard on being a Mom to Handsome Grant and The Lovely Emily.  She has worked her ass off in corporate America the last 20 years to provide a great life for them.  She is smart, a hard worker, honest, generous, fun, loving and would do anything, unconditionally, for her friends and most likely strangers.   This planet is lucky to have Andie here, making everything and everyone she comes in contact with a better place and a better person.    Now, she is an LSU fan and I think she likes country music, but we can't all Love the NY Rangers and The Cure and be perfect :)

On August 12th and 13th Baton Rouge got pounded with heavy rains the likes of which had never been seen before in that part of Louisiana (Denham Springs).  Friday night and into Saturday the rains kept coming.  The picture on the previous page (of Andie) was taken just an hour or so, from the roof of her home - where she was waiting to be rescued, before the entire home was swallowed by the massive waters.  

 Andie and her kids made it safely to a friend’s house.  Everyone is safe for now.  However, they lost everything.  Their house, their cars, all their possessions, (Beyond sad, their cats didn't make it).  The sudden, immediate and extreme loss is really more than my brain can comprehend.  This defines - when bad things happen to good people.  

I am asking for your help to help Andie and her family rebuild.  The need is urgent and immediate and the gratitude will last a lifetime.  Please help this wonderful family.  

 Putting in words what this means and how grateful (I) and Andie and her family will be is simply impossible.  But from the bottom of my heart - and on behalf on Andie and her family - Sincere Thanks for your help and Love!

All of the money raised will be given to Andie and her family.  The money will be used for immediate needs (basics) and to start to rebuild their life (property, house, car, school, clothes and supplies for kids). My name is John Yarmy and I am a pround and honered 15 year (or so) friend and old co-worker and boss of Andie.  I reside in New York, NY.
