Airyn's Medical Fund

I am attempting to raise money for my wife's sister Airyn's medical bills and other expenses. My wife and her sister both live in the Philippines and I live in the US. A few days ago Airyn had complications with her pregnancy and had to go to the hospital where her baby daughter was born 2 months premature. Her daughter was put in the ICU and unfortunately she passed away yesterday.

Airyn is still in the hospital recovering from the surgery. However even after she recovers enough to go home she will not be allowed to leave the hospital until all of her medical bills are paid and the bills will keep adding up every day she is held there. Also her daughter's body will not be released to the family for burial until all of her daughter's medical bills are paid. This would never be allowed in te US but unfortunately that is the way it is in the Philippines.

Any money raised will be used for medical bills and burial costs. The most immediate need is money for medicine and blood transfusions for Airyn. The hospital currently wont give her any medicine or treatments unless she pays for them in advance. After that any additional money raised will be used to pay the rest of Airyn's medical bills and her daughter's medical bills so she can go home and bury her daughter. If any money is left after that it will be used for burial costs.

We estimate the bills are around $4000-$5000 curently and will go up from there every day. To put that in perspective that is more than a years income for the average Filipino worker. My wife, her family and I would like to thank you in advance from the bottom of our hearts for anything you can give. Even if it is only a few dollars every little bit helps. Even if you can't afford to give anything please pray for Airyn.
