Help Jeanette in Ireland

Dear Friends,

Thank you for taking the time to visit my page. I'm so blessed to enjoy dual citizenship in USA-Ireland. I've enjoyed the past 12 years of working and living in California and Colorado.
 
I created this page to let you know that I will return to my native Northern Ireland in April for a short visit.  The primary purpose of my visit is to re-connect with my beautiful mother, Margaret Helen. She is experiencing spinal pain. I want to be there for her ... and show her some love. 

Some of you are aware that my mum was abandoned as a child, and suffered horrible deprivation for fourteen years of her childhood. She was completely confined within the walls of a religious industrial convent in Ireland. My mum has an immense amount of courage to survive such an experience. It's truly nothing short of a miracle that she did survive, and is alive today. Not only did she live, she generated life in me, and her legacy, , strength and courage lives in me. 

Whilst in Northern Ireland I plan to serve in the Corrymeela community -- Northern Ireland's oldest peace and reconciliation center. Check out the attached video to learn more about its history, and the work they do today, in post conflict, Northern Ireland. 

I also just lost my job, and had set aside vacation time and finances for my trip, so I could really use your help at this time.  I would like to raise $2,000 before April 17th.

So with that said, I invite you to consider joining me in my mission trip in two ways.

1. Please pray for me. Specifically, my time with my mother, and my time at Corrymeela. 

2. Please consider donating to my trip. There is no donation too small and every donation is incredibly appreciated.  I would like to raise $2,000 for the trip.  I leave the USA on April 17th and would like to have my fundraising completed before then.
