34 Dogs: Please HELP
California City Animal Shelter employees are in tears and stressed to no end.
As of this Memorial Day weekend, they've become overwhelmed with 34 homeless/dumped/mistreated dogs.
They only have 18 kennels, 10 of 34 dogs are currently being boarded (at $10 each per night, with only 10 total kennels available at a time for boarding). 5 of the 34 have been given foster homes, but they are out of options, and need major help, or DOGS WILL DIE.
This is so unbelievably sad, and we need to do anything we can to help them out.
If anyone (individuals or a rescue) is available to take in any one of the remaining 29 dogs to foster or adopt, the rescue
is located at:
5000 Lindberg Blvd in California City, CA.

If you know of a rescue that isn't at capacity, please contact them and let them know of this horrible situation that needs IMMEDIATE attention, so these dogs have a chance at life.
OR
Please donate! The CA City shelter needs money for boarding, more kennels, food, and medical attention for the dogs (most have somet
hing wrong with them, like injuries/malnutrition/etc).
We can help give these remaining dogs a good and healthy life. By donating or helping rescue one of them, California City Animal Shelter will be able to continue to take in homeless desert dogs that deserve love and a chance at life.
