WHAT IS THE SUPERBALL?

The Superball is an international drag competition in Amsterdam. Draghouses from Amsterdam and beyond come together in this battle to become leading drag house.
This year's Superball will take place on SATURDAY 7TH OF JULY 2018 in Paradiso.

Each drag house will compete in the following categories:
- Presentation of the houses (video)
- Lipsync
- Dance-off
- Catwalk
The public will decide which house will be leading drag house 2018.

THE HOUSE OF KUMKRETE, consisting of Zurich based Evalyn Eatdith, Tropikahl Pussy and VulVenim, has passed the first selection round and is one of the chosen 10 international drag houses to compete at Superball 2018!!!



WHO IS HOUSE OF KUMKRETE?

Evalyn Eatdith


Evalyn is Zurich’s most current dancing queen on the scene.
Her drag is fun, fain and fierce.

Evalyn performed for international venues: KUNT (Zurich), Something (SF), Salad Saturday (LA), High Fantasy (SF), BLU (Amsterdam), Big Fat Dick (LA), Ain‘t Your Mama‘s Drag (SF), Extravaganza (Paris), Dick@Nite (SF), Lellebel (Amsterdam),  Monster Show (SF),  LA BLITZ (Lausanne), DRAGME (Paris),  Hell‘a Tight (SF), King‘s Club (Zurich), Jeudi Barré (Paris), GeneVegas (Geneva), Tech Noir (Paris and Berlin). 

She is known for her collaborations with various artists: Lukas Beyeler, Patrick Mettraux, Marie-Caroline Hominal, Vivvyanne ForeverMore, Réunion Gallery, Honey Mahogany etc. 

She’s been crowned winner of June 2015 LA contest, Dragula Pageant.

Tropikahl Pussy


Tropikahl Pussy is a raw force of Nature. She has the grit and balls to take over the world by storm - Tropical Storm!

Born in the Amazonian Jungle and breed in the undergrounds of the big city of São Paulo, Miss Pussy is a full-fledged Queer Latinx Performer bringing fierceness, malice, sweat, sex, music and magick to every stage, dancefloor and runway that she steps into. Electronic Music has followed her like a friendly Ghost since forever. Together they have been producing fantastic trash-witch-dancy tracks, landscapes and beats for her own dancemusical performances in big and small stages all over the world. 

Tropikahl has a BA in Fine Arts & Performance in ZHDK (Zurich University of Arts) and Social Communication in Anhembi Morumbi (São Paulo). Tropikahl has been producing and performing in renowned venues around the world like Tanzhaus (Zurich, Switzerland), The Stud (San Francisco, US), CounterPulse (San Francisco, US), MIS (Museum of Image and Sound Sao Paulo, Brazil), Aunt Charlie's Lounge (San Francisco, US), The Queer Biennial II (Los Angeles, US), SSEX BBOX (Sao Paulo, Brazil).

VulVenim


VulVenim - an asexy, poisonous, shapeshifting, genderfucking witch from the Alps.
Shedding the layers, they will seduce you with their sexy fem-power … and cast a dark spell on you!

As a queer feminist, panromantic and sexpositive asexual, their performances merge seductive femsexiness with scary witchiness, weird queerness and genderfuckery.

They had been trained in ballet and contemporary dance and received a BA in Media Arts at the Zurich University of the Arts as well as at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna. Their works have been shown in galleries such as Commonwealth & Council (LA), FORMA Arts Contemporains (Lausanne) or LAC (Vevey) and they have performed at KUNT Party and Femme Fatale as well as at festivals like zurich moves! (Zurich), The Queer Biennial II (LA), Porny Days (Zurich), La Fête du Slip (Lausanne) and Deep Trash by CUNTemporary (London).

Switzerland and especially Zurich has a flourishing queer scene - help us bring it into the world and conquer the SUPERBALL 2018 in Amsterdam on July 7th!
Coming from all different kinds of artistic backgrounds, we, the House of Kumkrete, like to challenge the norms and stereotypes of "traditional drag". With your support, we get the chance to twist and queer and open peoples' minds with our kind of drag.

DRAG IS EXPENSIVE! Although it is a labor of love and we invest all of ourselves, craft, time, hearts and passion into it, we cannot carry all the costs ourselves and need your support to cover some of the following expenses: video production and all people involved, costumes, fabrics, wigs, hair, makeup, shoes, gems and rhinestones, travel expenses, housing in Amsterdam, rehearsals,  ...
